We’ve been having a lot of fall fun this last month in Georgia. The leaves all fell off the trees last week, and in a giant yelling “Hello Winter!” Atlanta saw 7 inches of snow! Being from California, I’ve seen snow fall… twice? Maybe three times in my life. Seriously, like a kid in a candy store. I literally ran in our bedroom, woke my husband up, and dragged him to the window to see haha. He, being from the southeast and spending more than his fair share of time in Canada when he played hockey, was less than enthralled with it.

You guys, it was amazing. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t think I’d like to deal with a whole winter of it. The idea of driving in it freaks me out. That day was magical though. It gave me hope of possibly experiencing a white Christmas for the first time ever! I’ve had more 80 degree Christmases than I can count.

Anyway, we’ve discovered this park by our house – Kennesaw National Battlefield Mountain Park. Love it. Bella literally hikes the whole mountain. She’s 15 months… Cue the deep sigh of a tired mama. However she takes the BEST naps when we go. It is just the loveliest park. Looking forward to many more family hangouts there.

Atlantans, where are some of your favorite outdoor places to hang out?

xoxo,

Lauren

  1. I love that outfit! It’s so simple, and it looks so comfy…just my style 🙂 I live in the metro-Atlanta area, so I’m not necessarily in Atlanta a whole lot. But I do enjoy the various parks Atlanta offers – such as Centennial Olympic Park!
