I love a good quiche. Here is my recipe for my Broccoli, Cheddar, and Bacon Quiche. Husband and kid approved!

I love a good quiche. I don’t make them very often because they can take a while. However I just created a new quiche recipe, and it is so tasty! Definitely going to put this one into our recipe repertoire at the Roberts’ household. This is both husband and kid approved. Huzzah! So without further ado, here is my recipe for the Broccoli, Cheddar and Bacon Quiche. (My mouth just watered 😉 )

Ingredients:

1 nine inch pie crust

6 strips of cooked and chopped bacon (I’ll use three strips if they are large and thick pieces)

5 eggs

1 cup of grated cheddar cheese

1 cup of whole milk

1 tbsp of melted butter (optional, it does make it a little richer.)

1 cup of cooked and chopped broccoli

1/2 tsp of onion powder

sprinkle of salt and pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook and chop the bacon and broccoli. Whisk the eggs, adding milk and butter to the mixture. Then add in cheese, broccoli, bacon, onion powder and salt and pepper. Mix together, and pour into the pie crust. Cook between 35-45 minutes, until the egg mixture is firm and golden. Enjoy!

Let me know what you think. 🙂

xoxo, Lauren
