American Eagle Fitting Room Session

Hey lovelies!

So I have some big news! As I promised earlier in the month, I would reveal where Will and I are moving…

We are super excited to start this new season of our lives. I’m really excited, but also kind of nervous (just a little bit). I’ve only ever lived in the West, so living in the South is definitely going to be a new experience for me. However when we visited there we just absolutely fell in love with the people and the atmosphere the city cultivates.

Atlanta is also an entertainment industry hub. Believe it or not it actually has more projects shooting there now than LA! Crazy considering 10 years ago there was not much there. So we’ll be able to do our entertainment careers from there, and fly in and out of LA as necessary.

Will actually ended up booking a minor role on a movie, mid-October. Thus we will be pushing back our moving date from the beginning of October to more of the middle. Such is the life of an actor’s wife. Being in the entertainment industry makes you uniquely flexible. Anyone who works in it knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Anyway, to get ready for the move we are updating some of Will’s wardrobe for auditions. AKA I get to tag along and try on all sorts of new goodies (and maybe get a few too ha!). Today’s fitting room session is going to be brought to you by American Eagle. Please note that this is not a sponsored post, however I am an affiliate for them. This means that I get a small commission if you choose to buy something I recommend here, at no extra cost to you. As always there’s no pressure to buy.

I don’t know what’s going on with American Eagle’s fabrics, but they are DELICIOUS! The three tops that I’m featuring in the photos below are so soft. Hands down some of the softest material I’ve felt.

Along with the sweaters I feature a pair of jeans and leggings. American Eagle has always had my heart when it comes to bottoms. The reason being is they actually fit mine ha! I have been blessed with a more round posterior and because of that, I often get that annoying gap in the back…. and all my full-bottomed ladies say amen. I do not get that with AEO jeans. It’s at the point now where half the time I don’t even try them on. I just purchase them because I know they’re going to fit. They seem to do well on many body types.

Lastly, this dress. AH! I LOVE this dress. It was one of those things when the moment I put it on it screamed “Lauren take me with you!” Always a great day, right?! It’s really flattering and very light and pretty. I’m thinking of pairing it with some over the knee boots for fall.

So what do you think? Which one is your favorite?

  1. I love everything you tried here! And I totally get you with the gap in your jeans problem; I have it too, need to try American Eagle jeans! At the moment I love GAP jeans as they fit really nicely and make them long enough for me, but sometimes I do still get that gap round the back! I think it would just be nice to have more options lol, at the moment I can only wear one brand of jeans!

    • I feel your pain, for me it’s finding jeans that are short enough. AEO has different length sizes “short, regular, and long” in every store. Really helps thing out!

  2. I love the floral print dress the most! I think it’s really cool that you’re moving to Atlanta to support Will. I have also thought about going there because of all the opportunities 🙂

  3. Awesome blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring
writers? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many choices out there that
I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations?
    Appreciate it!

    • I’ll be putting out a “how to start a blog” post soon that will answer all of your questions. Stay tuned!
